Naturally, it was in his nature! Review by William
Naturally, it was in Robert Greene’s nature to write this book. Accustomed as he has been to writing about human activity involving power relationships, Greene has produced yet another extraordinary book jam-packed with fascinating insights about how the mind of homo sapiens often works in dealing with other members of the species.

As Greene describes in the introduction, this book is a codebook for deciphering people’s behavior, with each chapter telling the story of some iconic individual(s) who illustrates the law being covered, along with advice on how to operate successfully (if that’s possible) under this law.

So what laws (all negative aspects or shortcomings, 18 to be exact, of human behavior) does Green focus on in this book? Irrationality, narcissism, role-playing, compulsive behavior, covetousness, shortsightedness, defensiveness, self-sabotage, repression, envy, grandiosity, gender rigidity, aimlessness, conformity, fickleness, aggression, generational myopia, and death denial.

Why why ? Tell them that it's Human Nature!! Review by Tony
Robert Greene does it once again,as far as discerning the psyche of the inhabitants of Earth, with a book that uses historical references to drive home a point made about the proclivities of people. Many points made in this book bear the ring of truth, when one simply thinks back and references their very own life-experiences. One observation in this excellent book ALONE made it worth the price of purchase!! "Remember ,people don't do something only ONCE;they will inevitably REPEAT their behavior."

What I’ve learned from this book Review by enrique
My most important learning from this book was how to recognize irrationals, how to train myself to deal with them, and how to recognize the narcissist, who are probably the most deadly and common types of humansI have come across in my lifetime. Thank you for your tireless efforts in producing this book. Way to get an excellent narrator after delivering the foreword as well (my feeling brain would not let me stop in fact I earned a badge for getting through a book longer than 10 hours). Amazing Review by Hman
This book is so amazing on so many levels. I was equally amazed by another of his book I have read, Mastery.

Masterpiece Review by Mauricio Morales Sánchez
Outstanding through and through, both content and narrator. Such a robust piece of work, I expect coming back to it regularly. I've purchased a hardcopy as well.

Another great book Review by Gerardo Zelaya
Another great book by Robert Greene. I particularly enjoy the narrator as well. His books have had a huge change in my perception of people and in the way I think about my interactions with them. (Seduction, Power, Human Nature) I can’t wait to get started on his book about Mastery.

Eye opening... Review by Napoleon
Very insightful and thorough piece of work. Robert Greene and his team unveil the dark side of human nature objectively, allowing the reader to identify with whatever area of improvement that's needed. I also appreciate that he provides strategies to avoid toxic behaviors in a social group setting. A must read for anyone seeking to advance in their careers and in human interactions as a whole.

Practical insights about ourselves and our culture Review by Mikuhl
this is really a great book at many levels, good narration and a facinating subject. Very well thought out and written. In many ways the author is in a class by himself: the ability to provide Insight from historical events, the use of relevant quotes, the turning of phrases and the sophisticated but not overly acane vocabulary really make the book a fun read full of insight and thought-provoking ideas.
