Another great book Review by Gerardo Zelaya
Another great book by Robert Greene. I particularly enjoy the narrator as well. His books have had a huge change in my perception of people and in the way I think about my interactions with them. (Seduction, Power, Human Nature) I can’t wait to get started on his book about Mastery.

Eye opening... Review by Napoleon
Very insightful and thorough piece of work. Robert Greene and his team unveil the dark side of human nature objectively, allowing the reader to identify with whatever area of improvement that's needed. I also appreciate that he provides strategies to avoid toxic behaviors in a social group setting. A must read for anyone seeking to advance in their careers and in human interactions as a whole.

Practical insights about ourselves and our culture Review by Mikuhl
this is really a great book at many levels, good narration and a facinating subject. Very well thought out and written. In many ways the author is in a class by himself: the ability to provide Insight from historical events, the use of relevant quotes, the turning of phrases and the sophisticated but not overly acane vocabulary really make the book a fun read full of insight and thought-provoking ideas.

Absolutely through Review by Kimberly D. Larson
One of the most broad analysis of the nature of the human experience. This books introduces a unique and unobtrusive insight to who we are and why we are. The summation of which grounds our mortal existence to the utter necessity to realize the fullest potential the shortness of life offers. Eye opening and motivating.

Helpful information Review by April Rodrigues
I really enjoyed learning so much about different types of people and how to reflect on and improve my own habits. I'll also be applying a lot of this info to raising my son. Great book. Will likely listen again in the future.

One of the best books Review by Dreamcatcher
I rarely listen or read a book twice , except this book, which I have listened three times in one month time. I will continue to listen to it ......

Outstanding. Review by Zeno Ponder
This is a broad and deep work absolutely packed with valuable knowledge. The historical anecdotes Greene uses to illustrate his points are fascinating. My only regret is that this book wasn't around 40-some years ago. Not understanding human nature as Greene presents it puts you at a significant disadvantage.

Interesting mix of biography and thoughts Review by Tintin
Mostly interesting biographies followed by sometimes tangential but often thoughtful analysis, or opinion rather, but a reasonable opinion except for ... well, I'm not into Jungian archetypes or Freudian explanations.

I listened to the whole book, tired just near the end when it seemed a little too much, generational differences oversimplified, death a bit much. I liked the chapter on groups and group dynamics, that's one of many I'd recommend. But why such laborious biographies? Bit hard getting through some, but if you know it's half biography going in, your probably ok.

LOVE IT Review by dominic
if you are like me and someone who loves having a better understanding of people and where some of their actions and attitudes comes from this book is great.

additionally it's a great book to help you check yourself and some of your own bad habits and insecure behaviors..

If you are a parent or leader of any sort, I recommend this book.

Very helpful psychology book Review by Trey
I'm 2 hours into the book and really like the narrator's voice. It's very soothing and calms you down.
The content of the book is very humbling. It makes you appreciate the human nature and look at it from a more empathic perspective rather than hateful . It helps you understand yourself and others better.

I would like to compare this book to the other similar book "Never Split The Difference". This book is more theoretical versus the other book is more how you apply to the real life. Anyhow, both a good books if you want to be a great communicator.

Big juicy book! Review by BestBookSales Customer
Great read! Definitely more of an intellectual read. If you were expecting something like the other books, it’s not. Less entertaining, more deep thinking. Will definitely have to read it a couple of times to grasp all the material. Starts of a little slow (in my opinion) then for me picked up at the end! Lots on envy, group behaviour, past traumas, social norms, our mortality and death. Reader is fine, just no music in the background like other books. Thank you for all the hard work and effort you put into it!

Masterpiece as always Review by BestBookSales Customer
The author speaks presumptuously and overgeneralizing. Yet, the ideas are fresh and insightful. Greene conveys his deep knowledge in the physiological field. Good book for perspective on dealing with your own emotions and with others. Must read.

7 Books in One Epic Review by Trent
Robert tempers the aggressive macheavellian tone from his past works like The Laws of Power into something much more real. I would like to believe this is much closer to the real Robert. This monster has the value and volume of a half dozen quality books, and after 20 hours I was still totally engaged.

Narrator is Excellent. Improved from prior works Review by Theo Rose
The narrator is excellent. Clear, concise language and on the mark punctuation and intonation. People are complaining about their own inability to concentrate on the deeper message.

Greene is the guy for no-filter psychology and history. Your investment in this book will likely be rewarded. But will it? : - )

Absolutely phenomenal work of literature! Review by Robert Wilson
First off I don't think the narrator is boring at all, I was captivated all the way until the end. I would recommend taking notes, as these laws are very hard to completely grasp and implement. Robert Greene's books have been very inspirational to me almost reigniting a curiosity and a spark I haven't felt since I was young. The old saying of "If we do not know history we are doomed to repeat it. - George Santayana" What better way to learn lessons than through history?
